detoxificationWhen your car isn’t running quite right, what do you typically do? Well, if we’re honest, some of us may ignore the warning signs and hope they go away. Your car may be making odd sounds, or not moving as quickly as it once did. If left ignored, these little clues that something might be a bit ‘off’ can lead to much bigger problems down the road (no pun intended.)

Our bodies are much the same way. We may be feeling a bit sluggish and perhaps we’ve been having some digestive issues. Maybe we’ve put on a few pounds and just can’t seem to shed them. Foggy thinking and memory loss have become the norm, but we get so used to it, we accept it. Going through detoxification therapy can help give your body a ‘tune up’, so to speak, and help it to function optimally. Your body is valuable – it’s the vehicle you use to live your life and it needs to be well taken care of, just like a fine automobile.

The Increasing Need for Detoxification

Within our environment, toxins are ever present. Even in the last 30 years, so many new toxins have been introduced into our environment from pesticides, chemicals and herbicides used in everything from our food and water supply to our air. Toxins can build up in our body’s vital organs and can negatively impact your overall health. Not only can toxin buildup make you feel poorly, it can also contribute to chronic illness and disease.

Do You Need to Detox?

While just about everyone can benefit from doing some type of detoxification, here is a list of symptoms that may be an indicator that your body could benefit from a cleanse:

  • Digestive Issues and Constipation
  • Headaches
  • Poor concentration
  • Joint Pain
  • Skin rashes and itchy skin
  • Weight Loss Resistance
  • Fatigue
  • Bad Breath
  • Irritability

How Should You Detox?

Typically with my patients, I’ll recommend a few different elements to cleanse their systems.
First, is our 14 Day Detox Cleanse. It includes a combination of:

  • Detox Protein Shakes
  • Detox Supplements
  • Digestive Enzyme Supplements
  • Recommended Eating Plan

This cleanse is easy to incorporate into your lifestyle and provides great benefits to the body.
Other elements of our Detox Treatment may include:

Aqua Detox Therapy

The Aqua Detox treatment helps to draw toxins and impurities from the body through the bottom of the feet, using electro-magnetic technology.

Infrared Sauna

We provide a specialized type of Far Infrared Sauna to aid in the detoxification process that is made without chemicals or glues and provides low level heat. This allows for a very effective purging of toxins from the body, as well as reducing stress.

By cleansing the body, you can restore and renew your health in so many ways!

Strength. Tenacity. Confidence. Drive. Initiative. Virility.

Low TThese are words that come to mind when we think of a healthy man. But as men age, they can often find that where they once felt these traits in themselves, those attributes have begun to wane. They aren’t quite themselves anymore and they can’t figure out why.

Many men turn to options, such as Viagra, to decrease symptoms of low-testosterone, only to be challenged with a laundry list of side effects.

What if, instead of temporarily helping a symptom such as: the loss of desire for sex, low energy, lack of drive, less ambition, weight gain, and loss of muscle mass, you could get to the root of the problem and eliminate it completely along with the symptoms that leave you feeling “not-so-manly”. What if, along with an increased sex drive, you could just feel better in every way?

You Could Have:

  • more energy
  • increased cognitive function
  • more drive and initiative
  • better muscle tone and strength
  • less belly fat
  • lowered cholesterol

At my practice in Sugar Land, Texas, my team and I strive to find the root cause of those symptoms and address them from a natural perspective.

Men and Hormonal Decline

So, if a little blue pill isn’t the answer, what is the solution? Often times, it’s simply bringing a man’s hormones into proper balance. And yes, I said hormones. Often times, we associate hormonal issues with women, but men deal with hormonal decline as they age as well. This can have a huge impact on their health and overall sense of well-being.

“Low-T” has become a hot topic in the media recently-but what does “low-T” really mean? As men age, they can often experience a decline in their Testosterone levels, causing an imbalance in their hormones.

So, You Think You Have “Low T”…Now What?

It seems that “low T” treatment centers are popping up in more and more, but when you’re deciding where to receive treatment, it’s important to know how they’re treating the issue. Using natural, bio-identical hormones to increase your testosterone is much more effective, safer and more beneficial than utilizing an artificial, synthetic hormone that can cause negative side effects.
